Who we are

TropicAquaApp (“we”, “us”) provides aquarium planning tools, games, and an AI copilot.

What we collect

• Account data: email, display name (from email sign-up or Google/Facebook).
• Auth & security: hashed identifiers, session tokens (via Firebase Authentication).
• Payments (Pro): minimal checkout details handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
• Usage: basic app events (e.g., buttons, errors) to improve reliability.
• Content you create: optional tank layouts, game scores, saved preferences.
• Cookies/local storage: to keep you signed in and remember settings.

How we use data

• Provide sign-in, personalization, save/restore tanks, and game leaderboards.
• Fraud/spam prevention and to keep the service secure.
• With consent, product emails (you can opt out anytime).

Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run the app:

• Firebase (Authentication, hosting/storage)
• Stripe (payments, if you upgrade)
• OpenAI (AI replies; only the prompt and minimal context you send)

We don’t sell personal data.

Retention

Account data is kept while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time (see Data Deletion). Billing records may be retained as required by law.

Your rights

• Access, correct, or delete your data
• Export your data (on request)
• Withdraw consent for optional emails

Children

TropicAquaApp is for ages 13+ (or the minimum age in your region). We don’t knowingly collect data from children under that age.

Security

We use HTTPS, industry-standard auth, and least-privilege access to protect your data.
